PUMA and Galatasaray have launched their 2025/26 alternative kit, a design steeped in heritage and crafted as a nod to the club’s historic roots.
The shirt draws its creative influence from the famous gates of Galatasaray High School — the birthplace of the legendary Turkish club over 120 years ago. As a tribute to the institution that shaped its early identity, the back of the shirt features the inscription “Mekteb-i Sultani,” the Ottoman-era name for the school. A refined pattern, taken directly from the school’s architectural details, brings a timeless elegance that merges tradition with modern design.
The launch campaign bridges generations, with a line-up including Mauro Icardi, Lucas Torreira, Eren Elmalı, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Ismail Jakobs, Mario Lemina, Yunus Akgün, and Abdülkerim Bardakcı — representing the club’s present-day stars.
For performance, the on-field version is made using PUMA’s lightweight ULTRAWEAVE technology, while replica and fan versions feature dryCELL moisture-wicking fabric for comfort. Sustainability is also front and centre, with every shirt made from 100% recycled polyester through PUMA’s RE:FIBRE initiative.
This release completes a meaningful 2025/26 kit collection for Galatasaray — following a classic home shirt and an away design commemorating the club’s 2000 UEFA Cup victory.
The new alternative kit is available now via PUMA, GSStore retail outlets, and online at GSStore.org and PUMA.com.
