In a landmark move blending sports, hospitality, and lifestyle, Omaxe, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has partnered with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) — parent company of the iconic Taj brand — to launch a Gateway-branded luxury hotel at The Omaxe State in Dwarka, Delhi.
The project will feature India’s first stadium-integrated hotel, setting a new benchmark for sports-led urban destinations.
Stadium Suites and Luxury Stay
At the heart of the partnership is a 158-key luxury hotel, including 40 stadium-facing suites built directly into the planned International Cricket-cum-Football Stadium. These suites will give guests an unmatched live match-day experience — the first of its kind in the country.
An adjoining premium club building will add 108 luxury rooms, catering to both business and leisure travelers, positioning The Omaxe State as a destination where sports, hospitality, and lifestyle seamlessly intersect.
A City Within a City
Spread across 50.4 acres under a PPP model with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), The Omaxe State is structured around five lifestyle districts: Sports, Hospitality, Food, Social, and Shopping.
Anchored by a 30,000-seat ICC and FIFA-standard stadium, the project combines world-class sports infrastructure with retail, dining, entertainment, and leisure offerings, creating India’s first integrated urban hub for sport and culture.
India’s Largest Members-Only Club
As part of the collaboration, IHCL will also manage a 250,000 sq. ft. ultra-premium, members-only club — among the largest in the country.
The club draws inspiration from global icons such as The Bay Club (Mumbai), Accor Arena (Paris), and private city clubs in London and Dubai. Planned facilities include:
- Fine-dining restaurants, signature bars, and private lounges
- Olympic-size and leisure pools
- Wellness & recovery centre
- Bowling alleys, library, co-working spaces
- Indoor & outdoor sports facilities, gymnastics and boxing zones
- State-of-the-art banqueting & event venues with multi-level parking
A Strategic Location for Global Events
Located adjacent to Bharat Vandana Park and Yashobhoomi — Asia’s largest convention centre, the destination is set to become Delhi’s premier venue for international summits, exhibitions, and world-class sporting spectacles.
