The Orlando Magic have announced Hard Rock Bet as their official sportsbook partner in a multiyear deal beginning with the 2025–26 NBA season. The partnership marks a significant milestone for both brands, combining the Magic’s growing fanbase with Florida’s only legal sportsbook.
Expanding the Arena Experience
Under the agreement, Hard Rock Bet will receive prominent in-arena branding at the Kia Center, including signage on the new jumbotron and branded basket padding during non-nationally televised games.
The partnership extends beyond visibility. Magic fans will have access to exclusive content, theme night promotions, and special offers via the Hard Rock Bet Magic Club and the Hard Rock Bet app.
J.T. McWalters, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships at the Magic, emphasized the collaboration’s focus on enhancing the live fan experience:
“It’s enhancing the fan experience. And that’s at all games at the Kia Center, but certainly on the road as well. And they’ve proven to do a great job at some of the other team partnerships that they have.”
Hard Rock Bet’s Growing Florida Footprint
The Orlando Magic deal continues Hard Rock Bet’s rapid expansion in Florida, following previous partnerships with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL) and Miami Heat (NBA).
As the state’s exclusive licensed sportsbook operator, Hard Rock Bet is solidifying its position as the face of Florida’s sports betting landscape—bridging the gap between digital betting and live entertainment.
A Tesla, 5 Million Points, and a Loyal Player
In a separate headline-grabbing moment, a Hard Rock Bet user from Boca Raton redeemed nearly 5 million Unity Points for a Tesla Model Y — the highest-value redemption in the company’s loyalty program to date.
Emilio, a frequent player across Hard Rock Bet and Seminole casino properties, claimed the Tesla through the app’s Reward Store and later gifted it to his wife.
Hard Rock Bet executive Matt Primeaux noted that the company views this redemption as a benchmark for future high-value rewards and deeper engagement.
Mario Lopez Joins the Hard Rock Universe
Meanwhile, Hard Rock’s gaming division continues to diversify its entertainment offerings. Actor and TV personality Mario Lopez has joined Hard Rock Games as the face of its new social casino campaign, Jackpot Planet.
Described as a Vegas-style free-to-play app, Jackpot Planet combines gaming with digital rewards.
According to Daniel Kajouie, Managing Director of Hard Rock Games:
“Mario Lopez is the ultimate embodiment of the Hard Rock spirit — charismatic, energetic, and deeply connected to entertainment and culture. His passion for the brand makes him the perfect partner for Jackpot Planet and our ‘Spin Like a Star’ campaign.”
The campaign will run across television, print, digital, and in-game media, positioning Hard Rock Games as a player in the fast-growing social casino space.
