Cleveland Cavaliers and The h.wood Group Launch HIPP: A New Benchmark in Luxury Sports Hospitality

The Cleveland Cavaliers, in collaboration with Los Angeles–based hospitality and lifestyle collective The h.wood Group, have officially unveiled HIPP — an ultra-exclusive, private members-only club located inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Designed to redefine luxury within sports and entertainment, HIPP offers members an unparalleled fusion of hospitality, culture, and courtside exclusivity.

Created by the renowned design firm Populous, HIPP is limited to just 100 members, each granted access to a fully bespoke experience at every Cavaliers home game. Membership includes a private entrance with valet servicechef-driven plated meals, a curated wine list, and handcrafted cocktails within a supper-club-inspired lounge. Members also receive full access to all premium spaces across Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, ensuring a seamless, elevated gameday experience.

“HIPP sets the global benchmark for luxury in sports and entertainment,” said Nic Barlage, CEO of Rock Entertainment Group, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. “Through our partnership with The h.wood Group, we’re unveiling an unmatched concept in the industry — an experience unlike any other.”

The club’s name and design pay tribute to Cleveland’s historic Hippodrome Theatre, originally built in 1907. Its interiors celebrate the grandeur of early 20th-century performance spaces while reflecting the modern energy and sophistication that define Cleveland today.

Beyond Cavaliers game nights, HIPP members will enjoy tailored lifestyle experiences throughout the year — both within the arena and across select global destinations curated by The h.wood Group’s luxury network.

HIPP represents the growing intersection of sport, luxury, and cultural exclusivity — a trend increasingly shaping premium fan experiences worldwide. As franchises evolve from teams into entertainment ecosystems, private membership spaces like HIPP position arenas as lifestyle destinations, not just venues. For the Cavaliers, this is more than hospitality — it’s a statement about the future of sports-driven luxury culture.
