Millie Bright Partners with MAAREE to Launch Empowering Sportswear Collection

Chelsea and England captain Millie Bright has teamed up with innovative sportswear brand MAAREE to launch a limited-edition sports bra and apparel range — a project built on performance, empowerment, and personal meaning.

The Millie Bright x MAAREE Empower Sports Bra takes direct inspiration from Bright’s own tattoos, incorporating symbols of strength, identity, and growth. On the racerback, the phrase Dream Big serves as both a personal motto and a rallying call for women in sport.

The striking cobalt blue design is accented with gold MAAREE and Millie Bright logos, marking her decorated career: UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 champion, eight FA WSL titles, and six FA Cups.

From Frustration to Innovation

Bright’s partnership with MAAREE stems from her own experience of battling discomfort from poorly fitting sports bras throughout her career. After discovering MAAREE’s founder, Mari Thomas-Welland, and her Overband Technology— designed to reduce upward breast movement — Bright became both an investor and brand ambassador in 2025.

The new collection doesn’t stop at the sports bra. It also features a matching t-shirt and cap, all maintaining the signature cobalt and gold palette. The launch will take place at Style of Our Own (SOOO) in London, a women-focused retail space that champions female-led sports brands.

MAAREE’s work extends beyond this project, collaborating with athletes such as England Netball shooter Eleanor Cardwell and FC Como, with even tennis icon Serena Williams spotted in the brand’s designs.
