In a significant move to strengthen its rural digital infrastructure, Comcast Corporation has completed its high-speed internet expansion across Paola and Hillsdale, Kansas—connecting more than 4,000 homes and businesses for the first time to its Xfinity and Comcast Business services.
The milestone, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting at Paola Town Square, highlights Comcast’s long-term investment in the region, which now exceeds $38 million over the past three years. The expansion brings multi-gigabit internet, mobile, entertainment, and security offerings to previously underserved communities—effectively leveling the digital playing field.
As part of the launch, Comcast reinforced its community commitment with a donation to My Father’s House, a nonprofit supporting rural Kansans in need. The company also emphasized initiatives like Internet Essentials, designed to improve digital access and affordability for low-income households.
With 64 million connected locations nationwide, this development marks another step in Comcast’s national growth and local impact—enhancing connectivity, economic opportunity, and digital inclusion across America’s heartland.
